What is EMF?
EMF stands for ElectroMagnetic Field. EMFs are invisible streams of energy that are emitted from natural sources (sun, cosmic radiation) and artificial sources (cell phones, microwave ovens, TVs, radios, WiFi, power lines, etc.). At the beginning of the 20th century, electric power began spreading across the world. Scientists soon realized that the power lines supplying all that energy were emitting EMFs. Before that, the human population has never before in history been exposed to artificial sources of EMF radiation. Which in turn means that our bodies are nowadays exposed to both naturally occurring and artificial EMF. The damage caused by all kinds of radiation depends on the exposure. For example, using cell phones alone will not pose any serious health risk but cumulative exposure from cell phones, WiFi, power lines, microwave ovens, wireless data networks, and other home appliances increases the risk of adverse health effects.
Almost all modern devices emit EMF to some extent.
